Submission guidelines

(( What Is Steampunk?

There are a number of common elements several of which would be: a 19th century Victorian setting; Steam power; science fiction or fantasy elements; alternate history; dirigibles and analog computers.

Steampunk fiction tends to focus on Victorian-er technology including steam engines, clockwork devices and difference engines, but the genre is no longer exclusive to the Victorian era.

The coining of the name steampunk is credited to author K. W. Jeter who was apparently trying to describe the sort of writing that he, Tim Powers and Bames Blaylock were writing in the 80s.))

*Simultaneous submissions are okay. But please tell us if your submission is accepted elsewhere.

*You may submit more than 1 story, in separate emails, but only one from each author will be chosen.

*Please attach as an rtf file (no stories pasted in the body of the email will be accepted) in Standard Manuscript format see example here

*In subject line please put in Submission Steam Punk Anthology, Name of your story and your name

*In Body of email please include a short bio of no longer than 200 words and your postal address
